In 1993, John and Starla Cassani suffered the tragic loss of their infant son, Colby. While still grieving, they found a measure of hope and healing through donating his organs. In 1995, they started the Colby Foundation to honor his memory and to educate others about organ and tissue donation.

The Colby Foundation offers the Colby Cassani Endowed Lectureship series to fund Organ and Tissue Donation curricula to our future physicians. We invite schools of medicine to inquire about this perpetual endowment.
